That affordability revolutionized the world, with customers buying more than 15 million Model T’s before Ford ended its run in 1927.
Henry Ford remained involved in the company right up to his death in 1947. It was the end of one era, yet the beginning of a new one, too: The Ford Motor Company introduced the original F Series truck the very next year, setting the stage for the brand’s biggest success ever.
