A car is one of the biggest purchases you’ll ever make, so it pays to be smart with your money. The pre-owned Chevys in Sacramento, for example, can offer the same sort of advantages as brand-new models but for thousands of dollars less. You can chalk most of that up to depreciation, which reduces the typical new car's value by some 20% during its first year on the road. That same ride will then go on to depreciate by about 60% after five years. The bottom line: Depreciated vehicles have lower values, so they command lower prices even with the same equipment as their new counterparts. It’s further worth noting that vehicles with lower values are usually less expensive to insure as well. This is especially important when you consider that insurance is one of your highest ongoing costs when owning any car.
West Coast Auto also offers exclusive benefits on top of all those savings. For starters, we’re so confident in our used Chevys that we offer service contracts/warranties on all of them. It’s all part of our commitment to being your top source for used cars in the Sacramento area.
Chevrolet vehicles have undoubted mainstream appeal, but in today’s auto industry, that means showcasing sophisticated safety technologies, ultra- convenient connectivity, and rewarding infotainment resources that can turn every ride into a joy ride. And just to be clear, all those features and more are also available on used Chevys. (Please note that exact features can vary by model and year.)
Traveling throughout Southern California, our own team of expert buyers is committed to finding the kind of used Chevys that Sacramento drivers prefer. The result is a broad but ever-changing inventory with models to fit just about any lifestyle. Come see for yourself, whether you prefer to visit us online or in person. Either way, we’ll deliver the quality, trust, and savings that we’ve built our reputation on.
Swiss-American race-car driver Louis Chevrolet inspired the name of this well-known auto brand, but it was William C. Durant who was its driving force. He (Durant) had earlier founded General Motors but was soon forced out after a GM restructuring. Eager to get back into the industry, Durant teamed up with Chevrolet — the driver — in 1911, and the two had their first vehicle, the Series C Classic Six, on sale by 1913. That model and those that followed were so successful that Durant was able to use the Chevy Co.’s assets to re-purchase GM in 1918!
Naturally, the Chevrolet brand became part of GM at the same time, and it went on to introduce breakthroughs like the original Chevrolet Suburban Carryall — considered to be the country’s very first SUV. More classics kept coming, including the Chevrolet Bel Air, Monte Carlo, El Camino, and Blazer, and today’s Chevrolet continues to be an industry leader for the 21st century.
